An exhibition presenting Finland's metal music will open in Budapest's Museum of Ethnography on Friday, organiser Timea Bata told MTI on Tuesday.

The event, focusing primarily on metal groups Amorphis, Nightwish, and Children of Bodom, is connected to last year's exhibition dubbed "What are Finns like?" Bata said.

"Last year we wanted to show some stereotypes about the Finnish… this exhibition was organised the complete the picture," she added.

Metal music is "extremely popular" in Hungary, and folk metal, Viking metal or pagan metal bands regularly tour Hungary, the organiser said.
